NSSE 2014 is in the field!

2.1 million students from 716 colleges and universities have been invited to complete NSSE 2014

More than 2 million students at 640 U.S. campuses and 76 Canadian universities have been invited to complete NSSE 2014. Nearly 300 campuses are participating in one of 12 consortia or 9 state systems, and even more have opted to append a topical module (new to NSSE in 2013) on 8 timely topics in higher education including, academic advising, civic engagement, experiences with diverse perspectives, technology, global perspectives, and writing.
Results feature findings on new Engagement Indicators, topics of special interest to institutions including academic advising and technology, the online student experience, and an exploration of the relationship between higher-order learning and other indicators of academic challenge. With support from The Kresge Foundation and Greater Texas Foundation, NSSE and the Center for Community College Student Engagement (CCCSE) have joined with Excelencia in Education in a special project focused on helping 12 pairs of institutions strengthen Latino student engagement, transfer, and college completion.
